In addition, there is a requirement to participate in various ministries of the church. The student will define with the GBI School Directors what ministries will suit the Lord's leading in their life. Students will mentor with those already in positions of leadership.

Pastoral Ministry Diploma Program

The following courses are included in this program:

Pastoral Ministry Core:

All requrements of the Church Leadership Core plus:

    Homiletics I and II
    Personal Evangelism IV
    Christian Education I and II

Plus all courses from the following:

In addition, a reflection thesis is required that focuses on God's leading and direction in the student's personal life. Along with participation in the various ministries of the church, the Pastoral Ministry Diploma Program student will also mentor with one of the Pastors or a member of the Deacon Board and will shadow the individual in the work of the ministry for 50 hours.
