The Bible
Is the Bible really, truly, the absolute word of God? Some believe it is only words written by sinful man, or that it is only a collection of myths and folklore. Some believe that only certain parts of the Bible are inspired, but not the entire Bible. How do you really know which parts are inspired?

God’s word, the Bible, states that it is of absolute authority, inspired, inerrant and infallible.  It is inspired in all parts because all the words are inspired. 2Tim 3:16,17; 2Peter 1:20,21. Inspiration does not mean the parting of some moral influence upon individuals. Inspiration means “God Breathed”, which also informs us of the source of these words. The actual words were given by God to the writers to write down.  The issue with inspiration is not the human authors but rather the words which are from God.

The Bible consists of 66 books from Genesis to Revelation. It was written over a period of 1500 years with God using some 40 different writers. Truly the Bible is the absolute word of God and not the word of man.

“Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God,” Rom 10:17.
